“Muse,” written and directed by Bay Point resident and iron worker Genel Mejia, will be shown at the Orinda Theatre on May 1 at 7 p.m., and it’s of special interest to Contra Costa County film fans because of the local setting. Look for shots of Mt. Diablo and Shell Ridge in the story of a film director searching for his muse – who is played by retired ironworker Laura Nimr (above).
