Orinda artist Thuy Linh Bennett Kang’s exhibition, “Wonders of Man and Nature,” runs from Aug. 16 to Oct. 22 at the Moraga Art Gallery, 432 Center Street, Moraga. “I paint lotus blossoms awash with colors, gleaming with resin, and subtly obscured by memory. The lotus emerges from murky waters, serving as a reminder of our own ability to emerge from darkness. It shows us that every day brings with it new hope,” said Kang. A reception is Sat., Aug. 19, from 5 – 7 p.m.
