A Sweet Dream Comes to Life in Orinda Ballet’s Nutcracker

    Orinda Ballet Academy (OBA) presents A Sweet Dream Nutcracker, bringing Clara and her magical adventure through the Enchanted Winter Forest and the Land of Sweets back to the stage of the Library Auditorium. In its 11th year, the production is helmed by Artistic Director Patricia Tomlinson and features student dancers Vivienne Leach and Bailey Brothers alternating in the role of Clara, joined by guest professional artists Jackie McConnell, Maurice Monge, John Orr and Alysia Chang, as well as fellow OBA students.
    The opening night performance on Friday, Dec. 13 begins at 6:30 p.m., with additional performances on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Performances are 1 hour and 15 minutes, with one intermission.
