In late June, California launched a digital tool for residents to access their COVID-19 vaccination records from the state’s immunization registry, adding a layer of convenience when required to show proof of being fully vaccinated.
To access the Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record tool, visit myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov. The form requires name, date of birth and an email address or phone number associated with the record. There is a prompt to create a four-digit PIN to open the link containing the vaccine information, which will be emailed or texted depending on the contact information provided.
Using the computer screenshot function, save the QR code generated by the digital tool, which will eventually be used to confirm vaccination at businesses, sports venues and other events. This part of the system, however, is not yet available.
