On Friday, May 3, Theatre Square hosted its first Maker’s Market, featuring local artisans selling homewares, jewelry and gifts. The event was the brainchild of Orinda planner, Darin Hughes, who worked together with Taylor Marlatte of Bay Area Maker’s Markets to coordinate the diverse array of vendors. The city and Marlatte hope to make this a monthly affair with the next Maker’s Market on Friday, June 7.
