Orinda teachers rallied together in solidarity by holding signs and lining Camino Pablo on March 18 with efforts to earn higher wages. A tentative agreement (TA) was signed on March 20, by Orinda Union School District (OUSD) and Orinda Education Association (OEA), including a six percent (6%) ongoing salary increase effective January 1. The TA was agreed upon on April 15, ratified and now part of the 2023-24 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
