Lily Williams, 26, a former Wagner Ranch Elementary School student, recently made a very special guest appearance at her alma mater. The author, illustrator and storyteller, who seeks to inspire change through education, did a presentation about her work at Wagner Ranch’s library, where she emphasized the importance of learning about the environment.
Williams two published books, If Sharks Disappeared and If Polar Bears Disappeared, which have been extensively fact checked, warn about the dangers and challenges that global warming presents.
“Lily’s message is a positive one about how each of us can make a difference to protect our environment for a healthy future and planet,” says Wagner Ranch Librarian Barbara Weikert.
