Pilar Point oil painting 12” x 12” by artist Lisa Gunn, a 36-year Orinda resident. Her work is showcased at Orinda Books, 276 Village Square, throughout November and includes mostly landscapes and still life. “I was struck by the moodiness of the grey day, the crashing surf and the color of the succulents,” said Gunn. “I started out as a plein air painter many years ago, but have been doing abstracts lately, which are in the Paul Mahder gallery, where I am represented, located in Healdsburg, Ca.”
