Sponsored by Orinda-Tabor Sister City Foundation, a Gingerbread House contest takes place this holiday season for the first time. Entries accepted at the Orinda Community Center on Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. Entries will be displayed for the public Dec. 2-3. Judging and winners announced in each category on Dec. 3. All entries must be completely edible. Prize categories are by age: 0 – 5 years, 6 – 10, 11 – 13, 14 – 18, and adults over 18 years. First prize in each category is $100.
