Singer Alice Ripley and Music Director John McDaniel Sweeten Up February with a collaboration of powerful music and entertaining stories as the Live at the Orinda! concert series continues.
Valentine’s Day comes early to the Orinda Theatre with Live at the sweetheart presentation “Ripley and McDaniel.”
Tony Award and Helen Hayes Award winner Alice Ripley (“Next to Normal,” “Side Show,” “Sunset Boulevard”) partners with Grammy and two-time Emmy Award winner John McDaniel in a display of musical talent.
Ripley, a Broadway star and Bay Area native, is known for her vocal stylings and emotionally powerful voice, while McDaniel’s award-winning music direction and accompaniment (“The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” “Carol Burnett’s 90th Birthday Special”) has made him one of the most sought-after musicians in the industry.
Together these consummate performers will share their personal musical odyssey through music and stories from a lifetime spent in music and on Broadway.
