It’s easy to complain about local government, but solutions only come with civic involvement – and applications are open for available seats on seven Orinda commissions and committees. Decisions on filling vacancies will be made in February, so the time is now to apply for:
• Planning Commission
• Parks & Recreation Commission
• Supplemental Sales Tax Oversight Commission
• Historic Landmarks Committee
• Art in Public Places Committee
• Finance Advisory Committee
• Traffic Safety Advisory Committee
