This fall, the Orinda Unified School District will introduce Transitional Kindergarten (TK), a free program for children who turn four on or before Sept. 1. Enrollment began Dec. 16, 2024, and will remain open throughout the school year.
TK offers a curriculum that is a bridge to kindergarten. Social-emotional, fine motor and academic skills are all integrated in this hands-on program, which helps build a strong foundation for meeting the rigor of kindergarten the following year.
