The Girl Scout motto is “Be Prepared,” and Evey Gregory (left) and Suri Weerakoon helped Orindans understand what needs to be done to protect their homes and community at the Orinda Wildfire and Safety Fair last month. Other members of Girl Scout Troop 30246 – along with city and fire officials – helped fairgoers learn more about how to prevent and control wildfires.
