You Can Go Home Again
As an elementary school and middle school student in Orinda, I always felt Orinda was my hometown – and now I’m back in the community again as the new executive editor of The Orinda News.
I’ve spent a long career in journalism, and my favorite part of the job has always been community journalism, so I’m excited to try and uphold the high standard set by previous Executive Editors Sally Hogarty and Kathy Cordova.
I look forward to getting to know the people and places in Orinda again, though actually I haven’t been away that long: I was an assistant girls’ basketball coach at Miramonte from 2016 to 2020, and now live only a few miles away.
