The most recent local Eagle scouts (sitting, L-R) James Rogers, Derek Youn, Joe Young; (standing, L-R) Callum Glynn, Nico Burgoyne, Matteo Arrigotti and James Giquinto. They were celebrated at a Dec. 13 Eagle Court of Honor at the Orinda Community Church, where they were recognized by local and national dignitaries for their achievement. Orinda’s Latika Malkani, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier, California Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Governor Gavin Newsom and President Donald Trump all sent commendations, and the FBI of San Francisco added a video message to the scouts recognizing their civic involvement. All attended Glorietta and graduate from Miramonte this year.
